Northern Michigan Events: Saturday, March 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. families are welcome at the Martha Wagbo Farm and Education Center near Ellsworth for a day in an authentic Northern Michigan sugarbush. Watch maple syrup being made in the sugar shack, take a naturalist-led hike through the sugarbush, meet the farm animals and sample maple syrup sundaes.
An added treat a this year’s Maple Sugaring Open House: Live music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Folk, soft rock, mountain, blues, and originals; with instruments including guitar, fiddle, harmonica, ukulele, banjola, mandola, mandolin, and banjo, among others. You’ll be sure to have fun!
