To continue our fabulous 30th anniversary summer, Traverse, Northern Michigan’s Magazine offered our readers the chance to win a free Backyard Makeover. This contest included $2,000 certificate to Labadie’s Summer Place Casuals for some fantastic furniture, and a $500 certificate to Crystal Gardens to complete the makeover for their yards.
Our summer contests generated a lot of enthusiasm. We kicked off summer with our Big 3-OH! contest that celebrated our 30th year in publication three prize packages including a family vacation and a spa package for two. (Read about our Big 3-OH! contest winners here.)
The patio prize package in our Big 3-OH! contest was a favorite at events and produced a lot of buzz. So, what better way to continue our 30th year hoopla than to offer another contest for new backyard furniture and garden accessories? Contest participants told us over and over how much they wanted and needed patio furniture.
Greg S. and Laurinda S. dreamed of just that after building their home four years ago on the East Branch of the Au Sable River. Their magnificent home lacked one essential item. Outdoor furniture. Now they will be able to complete their gorgeous home in Northern Michigan.
