Ambers, stouts, pale ales, oh my!  The slopes of Boyne Highlands will be doubling as beer paradise Saturday, March 13, for the area’s first Brew-Ski Fest, celebrating that classic combination of winter sports and wondrous suds.

Kicking off at noon, folks can saunter into the beer tent to taste more than 100 craft beers, as well as indulge in a brat or two and boogie to some live tunes.  Several Michigan breweries will be represented, including Bell’s, Tri City, Atwater Block and Arcadia.

And while all the beers are sure to offer something special, we’d suggest filling your tasting mug more than once with the flavors of Northern Michigan’s own North Peak Brewery and Short’s Brewing Company.

Package deals that include lodging, lift tickets, a t-shirt and mug are available for the weekend, which also includes the edgy fun of a Rail Jam competition and a rocking after-party in the Zoo Bar.
