Michigan author Patricia Polacco is represented in this group by her amazing picture book “January’s Sparrow,” a Civil War tale of an African-American family who make their way to Ohio.

You’ll “Return to the Hundred Acre Wood” with David Benedictus, revel in another collection of Jan Brett classics and meet an American girl in Swiss Alps trying to help finish the sculpture of an angel.
