Greg Garman, a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, has been painting and carving birds for over 20 years. His life-sized carvings and paintings are inspired from his own backyard and surrounding area south of Suttons Bay. Garman’s interest in birds grew with his move from Indiana to Northern Michigan—an area with a diverse environment and a myriad of different birds. This carving of a female cardinal with its exquisite features and lifelike feathering and colors is $800.
