The first annual ‘Hardcover, Hard Cider’ holiday book sale by Northern Michigan women authors will take place in the Mercato at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons on Friday, Dec. 18 from 4-9 p.m. This unique event will feature 12 local authors who will donate 10 percent of their book sales to the Women’s Resource Center’s Helen’s House, an emergency shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic or sexual violence.
