Discounted lift tickets, returning favorite brews and the high-energy grooves of Funktion are all on the menu for Saturday night at Short’s Brewing Company in Bellaire.
Short’s will be hosting its annual Brew Ski Bash starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday evening. A $5 cover gets patrons discounted lift tickets to Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire, as well as a chance to sample a variety of returning Short’s stouts, including Uber Goober Peanut Oatmeal Stout, Cup of Joe, Mystery Stout, Smore Stout, Turtle Stout and Uncle Steve’s Irish Stout.
The highlight of the evening will be a live performance from Funktion, a 7-man band based in Kalamazoo. The group is renowned for its electrifying mix of soul, jazz, rock and hip-hop. A fan favorite at festivals like Dunegrass and Taste of Kalamazoo, Funktion will perform tracks from its debut album, “Funk Prelude,” which was released this summer.
Tickets to the Brew Ski Bash are $5 and can be purchased at the door. For more information, call 231-533-6622 or visit shortsbrewing.com.
