Woodland Creek recently opened its new ice cream parlor featuring “Moomers” ice cream on US 31 north across from picturesque East Grand Traverse Bay.  A full line of sundaes, floats, malts and shakes are available.  Additionally, visitors can enjoy coffee, espresso, cappuccino, fresh baked pies, muffins, hot dogs, Red’s barbeque sandwiches and Mackinaw fudge. The Outfitter hosts a free kayak and stand up paddleboard demo at Ford Park downtown Harbor Springs on July 11.  Representatives from various kayak manufacturers including P&H, Venture, Hobie, Ocean and Eddyline, plus stand-up paddleboards from Waterman and SurfTech will be onhand.
