Gourmet dinners with Michigan’s summer sustenance are easy to come by thanks to Chef Jacobs of Boyne Highlands Resort. For the summer season, he’s pairing dinners with Michigan beers and wines from around the state. Meals consisting of fresh ingredients and artful presentation give guests the opportunity to sample and learn about Michigan flavors from their regional brew and wine masters.
"The nuances and flavor profiles in the beers and wines create more complexities and touches with the food we’re preparing," said Jacobs. "We’re lucky to have such world class wines and beers available to us right here in Michigan." Chef Jacobs’s Michigan focus for summer is well received with guests and, as he claims, allows for people to get to know good food and a good area.
