Oh yes, it’s Ladies Night—Timber Ridge Resort in Traverse City second Womens Wednesday Nights happens this Wednesday, February 11.

The trails will be open to ladies who want to do some skiing and snowshoeing. Afterward, ladies are welcome to kick up their snowboots beside the giant outdoor bonfire (or the cozy indoor fireplace) and enjoy good food, contests, prizes and—this week—a look at (and sips of) herbal tea: a special speaker who’ll offer a talk about teas, the health benefits, and the correct way to “steep” or prepare high quality teas.

About Womens Wednesdays

On February 11, ladies will be treated to a spa night from Arbonne, soothing foot baths and pamper-worthy products, plus a contest for the best name, label design, bottle design, etc. of bottles of wine ladies bring to share.

The final event on February 25 promises the return of the Chili, Soup & Stew Cook-Off, a new Dessert Bake-Off and massage from Living Light Massage.

The Deal

With the seemingly endless talk of bailouts and recessions, Timber Ridge Resort is doing its part by offering a reduced entry fee this season: just $10 for all of the fun and laughter a guest can fit into three hours (from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. each evening).  Classic ski, skate ski, and snowshoe rental rates are also being reduced by 50 percent—first-come, first-served.

Any ladies who’d like to gather up their girlfriends for an affordable night on the trails and by the fire should RSVP with Timber Ridge by calling 231-947-2770 or emailing info@timberridgeresort.net.
