The Suttons Bay Art Festival is accepting entries for its poster design competition to advertise the 29th annual event. All graphic media is acceptable. The winning design will be used for the promotional poster and T shirts sold at the festival, and the winning designer takes home $300. Poster deadline is May 16, 2008.

COMPETITION RULES:
All graphic media is acceptable: Paint, markers, photography, digital art, crayons, chalk, etc…
The winning design will be used for our poster and for tee shirts sold at the Art Festival. Digital entries should include print with file on CD.
Poster information that must be INCLUDED IN DESIGN should legibly read:

Finished image area must be no larger than 11 by 17 inches. Any number of colors may be used in the design. Artwork should be signed but not matted. All entries should be in completed and finished form, and the artists NAME and PHONE NUMBER should be written on the back of the entry.

All artwork must be original, and previously unpublished. There is no entry fee… enter as many designs as you like.POSTER DEADLINE is May 16th.

Entries may be dropped off at Bahle’s store in Suttons Bay, or postmarked by deadline to: Art Festival, PO Box 232, Suttons Bay MI 49682. All artwork may be picked up at Bahle’s after June 2nd or if the artwork must be returned by mail, please include a $3 handling fee.

Poster entries will be judged by the Suttons Bay Art Festival committee. The winning entry will be printed in full color by a printer selected by the Art Festival committee. This process, as well as the fees and print costs will be the responsibility of the Suttons Bay Art Festival. All reproduction rights and use rights will belong to the Suttons Bay Art Festival.
