- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup dried cherries
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh or dried mangoes
- 1/3 cup chopped dried or fresh Gala apples
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar, to taste
Fill a pot with fruit and enough water to cover. Add a 1/4 to a 1/2 cup of sugar according to your taste. Bring to a boil, simmer for 30 to 45 minutes, or until fruit is tender. Drain and cool. Store for a week.
