Cantaloupe-Lime Agua Fresca

Yield: Makes 1 to 1 1/2 gallons

Ingredients

  • 8 small fresh local cantaloupe (just larger than a softball)
  • 3 cups fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • Optional¬†1 1/2 oz silver tequila
  • Optional splash Topo Chico

Preparation

Skin and de-seed cantaloupe, puree flesh in blender, strain with fine strainer. Mix juices together, chill.
