Grand Traverse Resort & Spa Golf Course Updates

Home to The Bear, The Wolverine and Spruce Run, Grand Traverse Resort & Spa is the perfect place for a full weekend of golfing and relaxation. For 2021, they will be hosting The Michigan Open for the 28th time from June 14 to 17 along with other outings like the annual Heroes Cup Golf Invitational charity golf tournament on August 27 and 28. Additionally, they will be hosting multiple outings for Traverse City’s famous Cherry Festival.

Shanty Creek Resort Golf Course Acquisition

For 2021 the biggest news to come out of Shanty Creek Resort is the acquisition of Hawk’s Eye Golf Club in Bellaire. This purchase means Shanty Creek is now among the top 10 largest golf resorts in the United States, making it an even more popular destination for summer.

Mountain Ridge & Betsie Valley Course at Crystal Mountain

From June 28 to 30 Crystal Mountain will be hosting The Michigan PGA Women’s Open Tournament at their Mountain Ridge Course. In addition to professional events, they also are hosting family golf scrambles and the Crystal Mountain Scholarship Invitational.

Boyne Highlands Golf Course Updates

New for 2021, the TrackMan Range has opened at Boyne. This 30-bay range enables golfers of all skill levels to practice distance control, shot-shaping and more. Boyne is the first Northern Michigan resort to add this new technology and they are inviting you out all summer long to try this new golf entertainment experience to make practice more fun.
