We are seeking resumes for a Mill Engineer in our Filer City, Michigan facility.
The Mill Engineer will provide process optimization and engineering support for the mill, which includes but is not limited to:  emphasis on predictive maintenance (vibration analysis), best lubrication practices, compliance process coordination, lean projects, quality and product safety, and analytical and systems support.
Principle Accountabilities:

•Apply engineering principles and procedures to the design and the implementation of the assigned engineering projects.

•Initiates the design, installation, and start-up of assigned engineering projects under the direct supervision of the Mills Trade Personnel and/or Contractors.

•Conducts data analysis projects and uses the date to make business decisions.

•Assignments may include some work at higher levels or training and development purposes.
Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

•Applicants must have 0-3 years’ experience in project engineering or production in the paper industry.

•Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Auto Cad and Project.

•Must have knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Pulp and Paper Science is preferred.

•Pulp and Paper Industry experience preferred.

•Reliability Centered Maintenance Individual

•Experience with vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication, and single/multi-stage turbines is preferred.

•Must be able to work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi-task, and build sound relationships with both internal and external customers.

•Must exhibit excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills.

•Must be capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving.

•Must be capable of working with ambiguity and change.
