Examples of Office/Admin and Employment Specialist duties include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Support of all functions for specified territory and participant case-load of participants in  (5) counties in order to help suport career plan and plan to obtain Employment off of the program
  • Community service training site monitoring and communications with all host agency supervisors
  • Gathering information and documentation to facilitate participant eligibility determination
  • Conducting new participant enrollment meetings
  • Submission of final enrollment documentation
  • Organization of host agency transfers and conducting transfers as needed
  • Helps to act as onsite point of contact for  Grand Traverse office; accepts walk-in inquires/ manages incoming phone calls and inquiries/ answers public questions/ responds to email inquiries
  • Fulfils and mailing of new participant application packets  
  • Facilitating training, Job Clubs, group computer workshops as needed
  • serving as an employment coach for other participants
  • providing general administrative assistance to office as needed
  • recruiting participants as needed
  • recruiting community service training sites/ new host site development
  • Liaison with host agency supervisors
  • Creation of IEPs and career coaching
