Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council hosts an educational series called “Ice Breakers.” Topics range from the new Water Withdrawal Assessment Tool to Utilizing Native Plants in Your Landscaping.

Sessions are open to the public, there is no fee to attend. Participants may bring a lunch. Coffee and a snack will be provided. Sessions are limited to 15 participants. Pre-registration is required.

Today’s topic: “Volunteer Monitoring: Programs and Results,” with Kevin Cronk, Monitoring and Research Coordinator.

Petoskey, on Little Traverse Bay, is about 60 miles north of Traverse City on US-31.
