Have you ever been intrigued with the art of fly fishing? Please join us at Grass River Natural Area on Saturday, June 17th at 1 pm as Master Certified Fly Fishing Instructor and Licensed Guide D.J. Schmidt helps folks connect with nature through his presentation called “The Ecology of Fly Fishing.” Schmidt will cover secrets he has learned along the way, how to tie a fly, and teach folks how to cast in this hands-on program. There will be a display with tied flies, fly rods, books, dvd’s, handouts, and fly tying equipment. He will also stress the importance of protecting and enhancing our environment.
