2012 Summer Lecture Series

Sleep for Success! Everything you must know about sleep but are too tired to ask!

Most students and adults are sleep deprived, causing reduced concentration, productivity and quality of work, as well as an increase in moodiness, stress, accidents, illness and shortened life span. Several leading Fortune 500 companies and professional associations, as well as professional sports teams, are learning that it is neither “macho” nor smart to operate on less than the required amount of sleep; in fact, recent medical research proves that sleep deprivation literally “makes you stupid, clumsy, stressed out, unhealthy and will shorten your life.”

Speaker: Dr. James B. Maas, CEO Sleep for Success!, former professor, Stephen H. Weiss Presidential Fellow and past Chairman of Psychology at Cornell University together with Amber Way, Charlevoix High School award winning cross country athlete and champion sleeper.
