They are part of her low-tech arsenal of artmaking tools, & she’ll tell us all about it. Stafford does black & white photography the old-fashioned way. As Adjunct Instructor of Photography at Northwestern Michigan College since the1980s, Stafford has guided legions of students through the art & craft of making black & white images on film, wet darkroom techniques & magic. She is also a founding member of the Figure on Saturday life drawing group.
