Sheyann Webb-Christburg, Civil rights & voting rights activist, author, humanitarian & the recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal, is presenting the film Selma at Lake Superior State University’s Arts Center. Sheyann Webb-Christburg, a native of Selma, Alabama has been a voice of justice, equality, courage, commitment and character since the tender age of eight as she participated in the historical march on Selma. During the film, Ms. Webb-Christburg will discuss how she became a Civil Rights Activist.
