The 10th annual Running Fit 10-week beginner’s running class, “Run Again!” meets on Monday evenings beginning March 22nd.
The class, featuring area health and fitness-related experts, covers a wide range of topics related to running and many aspects of leading a physically active lifestyle year-round.
The focus is not on competitive running, but on running for health and fitness. Participants attend a once a week class in a sit down format, then use a 3 session per week take-home walk-run program that culminates with being able to run for 30 minutes at a time.
The class is appropriate for all ages and abilities. Instructor Lisa Taylor is a Traverse City Track Club member, avid runner and award winning cross country coach at Traverse City Central.
$90, or $75 each when you sign up with a “buddy.”
