Join librarian and archivist, Amy Barritt, for the second session in her Family History Preservation series.

Digital family treasures are exceedingly popular, whether you have digital family albums, numerous folders of digital photographs, or if you have digitized family letters.  Digital media is typically cheap to make, cheap to store, and cheap to share.  But what about accessing those files in two years, five years, or more?  Learn the best practices for keeping your digital files accessible into the future.  We will also be debunking some very common, but very damaging digital preservation myths.

This program is brought to you by the Kingsley Branch of the Traverse Area District Library.  Please join us in the Kingsley Branch Library Community Room, 213 S. Brownson, Kingsley, MI. For more information, please call 231-263-5484 or go to www.tadl.org/kingsley.
