In response to a community needs survey, Oliver Art Center is launching a series of winter classes, called the Cabin Fever Classes. The classes will run from mid-February through mid-April, many on weekend afternoons, and include over a dozen classes under $100.
OAC’s Culinary Program is expanding with Joe Muer and four new seafood classes, Abby Beale with foods that fuse nutrition and taste and Cheryl Ganz with scones.
A variety of instructors will be offering creativity, drawing, painting and fiber arts classes. Classes include fused glass with Debra Anton Coburn, pastel and watercolor workshops with Barb Reich and Adam VanHouten, alcohol ink for kids and adults with Karen Keranen, collage with Beth Bynum and using fabric as an art form with Carol Marshall. The ceramics studio will be offering beginner and introductory classes for both kids and adults in addition to their weekly open studio.
Register for classes online now at Oliver Art Center or call 231-352-4151 for more information.
