Producing a Commercial Food Product: Wendy Wieland

This introductory class is designed for those wanting to manufacture a food product that is not eligible to be sold under Michigan’s Cottage Food Law. This would include pickles and other vegetables, many sauces, including those with fruit, anything with meat or dairy as an ingredient…and many others.
Wendy Wieland, MSU Product Center Innovation Counselor, will cover will topics including food safety basics, regulatory requirements, business development resources and more.
