Fantastic food, fabulous cars, fine wine and beer will be served up at the Garden Party to be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Harris Gardens at North Central Michigan College in Petoskey. The event will provide scholarships for students enrolled in North Central’s CNC (Computer Numerical Controls) Machining program.
This 300-guest wine and food gala will feature exceptional regional cuisine prepared by the area’s finest restaurants, paired with extraordinary wine and beer featured and distributed by Great Lakes Wine and Spirits. Guests are encouraged to wear their best garden party chic (including hats for the ladies). In addition, there will be a display of classic cars.
Last year, the event raised more than $65,000 in scholarships for students enrolled in the Computer Numerical Controls program. These dollars covered the tuition, fees and books for 91 students enrolled in the Fall 2016 and Winter 2017 semesters and also enabled the College to purchase Fab Lab/Lab Computers for the CNC program.
Tickets for The Garden Party are $150 per person. Attire is traditional Garden Party chic. The hosts request that ladies wear hats. Guests must be 18 to attend. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.thegardenpartymichigan.org.
