McLean & Eakin Booksellers welcomes Jim Milligan, founder of Fustini’s Oils & Vinegars to sign copies of the new Fustini’s cookbook, How Fustini’s Do Fustini’s. He will also sign the first Fustini’s cookbook, In the Kitchen with Fustini’s. Both cookbooks are spiral-bound and lay flat for easy access while in use.

Fustini’s was founded by Jim and Lane Milligan. While living in Minneapolis, they took frequent vacation visits to Traverse City and fell in love with Northern Michigan. On his travels, Jim experienced the oil and vinegar shops in Europe and began developing an idea to bring a similar shop to the States. In Italy, “Fustini’s” are the stainless steel containers in which olive oils and vinegars are stored, and the name was born. Upon his retirement from 3M Corporation, Fustini’s Oils & Vinegars opened in May of 2008 on Front Street in downtown Traverse City. The following year, the location in Petoskey opened its doors and in 2010 a third store began in Holland, Michigan.

This is a free in-store event. No reservations are required.

Petoskey, on Little Traverse Bay, is about 60 miles north of Traverse City on US-31.
