HARBOR SPRINGS: Come this Saturday night (November 14), the men and women around Little Traverse Bay will be headed their separate ways; while the guys load up their camo and head to the woods, the ladies can be found at the annual Ladies’ Night Out in Harbor Springs! With over twenty stores opening their doors, ladies can enjoy discounts, refreshments and a festive night on the town.

Ladies’ Night Out is a grass-roots effort organized by merchants and the local Chamber of Commerce to showcase what Harbor Springs has to offer in the off-season, to encourage locals to shop locally, and to celebrate the uniqueness of our small town. As Tawana Naturkas, owner of The Paper Station—a new restaurant in Harbor Springs—explains: “I’ve been going to Ladies’ Night in Harbor Springs since the first year The Outfitter started the event. I look forward to this every year; it’s a great night to support local business and see your lady friends!”

There is much to celebrate; instead of fighting the crowds at generic big box stores, ladies can come find a huge range of specialty gifts as well as functional items from jewelry, art and hand-blown glass, to boutique clothing and skiwear, to home decor, kitchenware, books, cookies, toys and more!

Dinner specials will be offered at local restaurants including Mustang Wendy’s, The New York, Stafford’s Pier, The Paper Station, and Turkey’s Cafe and Pizzeria.

If ladies make purchases in three or more stores, they are entered to win a great gift basket stocked with goodies from Between the Covers Bookstore, Elizabeth Blair Fine Pearls, The Outfitter, Spice Harbor, and The Paper Station.

Ellen VanderZee from Smitten Events and Stephanie Baker Photography are both from The Main Street Collaborative in Harbor Springs and they are excited to spearhead and organize this annual event that is supported by the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.
