Bring your favorite lawn chair, kick back and enjoy local beer, wine and cider while listening to the foot stomping, “old-school” Cajun music of K. Jones and the Benzie Playboys at the 3rd Annual Labor Day Lawn Concert in Leland Saturday, September 3.
The Northern Michigan ensemble features traditional button accordions, fiddles and a washboard creating an authentic, family-friendly Louisiana dance experience. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the outdoor concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 12, and children 5 and under are free. Tickets to the Leland concert can be purchased online at mynorthtickets.com and at the door.
The outdoor Leland concert at the Old Art Building in downtown Leland is sponsored by the Edmund F. and Virginia B. Ball Foundations, Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
