Two Evenings, 6:00-9pm, Mackinac Art Museum, $75

Join local and regional artists as they share their art expertise. Our art workshops series takes place at the historic Mackinac Art Museum, located downtown in Marquette Park. Supplies are provided. Class sizes are limited, early registration recommended to guarantee space.
Make two pieces of silver jewelry in two evenings, even if you have never worked with silver before! The magic is PMC, Precious Metal Clay, a pliable, putty-like compound containing pure silver powder.  In the first evening, you will learn how to work with the PMC, create a small silver charm & use a portable torch; during the second, you will produce a pendant or bead.  Both pieces will be completely fired, polished and ready to wear when you leave this workshop. Those who are familiar with PMC+ silver will have the opportunity to work independently, though the amount of silver clay will be the same.
Rosemary E. Gould is a Certified PMC Instructor. All materials included.
