Chateau ChantalWhat can $25 buy you these days?  A few things may come to mind—notably “not much.”  But $25 is the purchase price for a ticket to Sunday, February 23rd’s Jazz D’Vine, a fundraiser hosted by Old Mission Peninsula’s Chateau Chantal for the benefit of Grand Traverse Pavilions Foundation.  Aside from indulging your taste for Northern Michigan wine and ear for jazz, that ticket will help to provide healthcare and residential services for low-income adults living at the Grand Traverse Pavilions, which provides over 300 residents with a variety of services, including day and overnight respite, rehabilitation, assisted living, and long-term skilled nursing care.

Jazz D’Vine encompasses a casual afternoon of great music, wine and cheese tasting, and guided tours of Chateau Chantal’s cellars and production facilities.  With spectacular views of both Grand Traverse Bay and Old Mission Peninsula, a stunning surrounding provides the background for the music of the Jeff Haas Trio.  Haas—a resident of Traverse City—has been a mainstay in the Michigan jazz scene for decades, and is currently the host of The New Jazz Archive, an Interlochen Public Radio program devoted to all things jazz.

Jazz D’Vine takes place on Sunday, February 23rd, from 2 to 4 pm.  Each ticket also endows its purchaser with 20% same-day dinner discount at the Old Mission Tavern.

To reserve a ticket call the Grand Traverse Pavilions at 231.932.3027.
