The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) hosts an Irish Road Bowling Party all in the name of fun and in support of the Orchestra.
What Is Road Bowling?
Road Bowling is an ancient popular sport in Ireland and consists of teams of four, rolling a metal ball along an unpaved country road for a distance of 1-1/2 miles. The team that covers the distance with the fewest tosses is the winner. Players just walk the course as they play, enjoying mild exercise and the camaraderie of other players and spectators.
