On Thursday, July 21, the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society is honored to welcome Erik Lindbergh, grandson of pioneering aviator Charles Lindbergh, to speak as part of our Harbor History Talk series. In “Escape from Gravity,” Lindbergh will take us on his exciting journey from extreme sports to extreme physical disability, then a miraculous second chance at life. Fly with Erik as he retraces his grandfather’s epic 1927 New York to Paris transatlantic flight to raise money for the XPRIZE Foundation.

To accommodate a larger audience, Lindbergh’s talk will take place at the Harbor Springs High School Performing Arts Center, 500 N. Spring Street, Harbor Springs, and will begin at 5:30 pm. Admission is free with donations accepted at the door. Join us prior to the talk for light refreshments.

Reservations are not required but are appreciated and can be made by calling the Historical Society at (231) 526-9771.
