North Central Michigan College and the Petoskey District Library are offering the next event in the ”Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journeys Book Discussions”  on Thursday, June 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the Carnegie Building at 451 E. Mitchell St., in Petoskey.

The book for discussion is “Leo Africanus” by Amin Maalouf and the discussion will be led by former NCMC librarian Eunice Teel. The event is open to the public and admission is free. This program is a project of National Endowment for the Humanities, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association Public Programs Office, with support from the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
