An Evening with Kare Pew Wolters

The tenth anniversary of the Margaret Duerr Award will be celebrated this summer.  This is a special event in Charlevoix honoring citizens who have made a lifelong commitment to the arts, education, and environment of Northern Michigan.

This year the recipients are Lynne and Mason Rosenthal, summer residents of Charlevoix.  They were among the lead contributors to our restored public library, and are also supporters of many local organizations.

Our speaker, Kate Pew Wolters, has a passion for education and for Grand Valley State University.  The philanthropist and disability activist served as the head of the Steelcase Foundation for ten years.  She has received many awards for her leadership and advocacy.
