Esperance of Charlevoix hosts a farm to plate Harvest Dinner to help raise funds to support a location for the Charlevoix Winter Farmers Market.
The dinner includes a six course menu comprised almost exclusively of seasonal food from local producers and prepared by Esperance’s elite chefs. Each course is perfectly matched with wine from the Esperance cellar.
Harvest Dinner guests will be served by, and dine with some of the local farmers who helped supply the bounty of food for their meal, giving them a firsthand experience into what it takes to keep the community fed.
Participating farmers include Mike and Susan Kitely of Kitely’s Farms in Charlevoix; Dave and Cathy Coveyou of Coveyou Scenic Farm in Petoskey; Tom and Waneta Cook of Cook Family Farms in Gaylord; Rick and Sue Duerksen of Duerksen Turkey Farm in Mancelona.
6:30pm Opening reception
The dinner is $75/plate with all tips benefiting Farmers Market. Esperance is also hosting a silent auction of select bottles of wine to benefit the Market.
