The annual Sidewalk Sales finds Downtown merchants moving their stores into the streets to present their wares in a traditional, old-fashioned sidewalk sales venue. Streets in Downtown Petoskey are closed off to everything but foot traffic and sidewalk dining options.

Sidewalk Sales also provides entertainment for the entire family with the Farmers Market on Fri. 8:30am to mid-afternoon.
Fri. in Pennsylvania Park, the Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park feature The Moxie Strings at 12:15pm and Jelly Roll Blues Band at 7pm.
Petoskey Rocks! provides entertainment throughout Downtown on Fri. 6-9pm. Musicians include Dwain Martin & 45 North, Bob Greenway, Miss Holly, Natalie Smith, Petoskey Steel Drum Band and Stephen Guthrie. There is a Ghost Walk at 8:30pm and the Movie in the Park at Dark is Escape from Planet Earth sponsored by Stafford’s Hospitality. There will be no carriage rides during Sidewalk Sales.
Friday, July 26 is the last day for the Where’s Waldo? Scavenger Hunt through participating stores. Entry forms can be turned in to the Petoskey Downtown Offices until 9pm.
On Sat. at 2pm, join in the fun with a final celebration of the Where’s Waldo? hunt. Enjoy treats, music and prizes from 2-3pm in Pennsylvania Park.
