PETOSKEY: This year’s Summer Strings Workshops take place July 5th-26th, with classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. Summer Strings programming provides an opportunity for kids and parents to continue their musical studies during summer vacation. From intermediates to experts, all levels of experience are welcome to register.

Intermediate Strings takes place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 – 10 a.m., and is appropriate for students with one year of playing experience. Concert Orchestra takes place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m., and is appropriate for students with at least two years playing experience.
Chamber Orchestra takes place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11 a.m. – noon, and is appropriate for advanced high school level strings students.

On Wednesday, July 26 the Summer Strings Workshops will conclude with a performance at noon in Pennsylvania Park in downtown Petoskey as part of the annual Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park Series. Tuition is $52 for the three-week session. Students participating in more than one class level will receive a $15 tuition discount for each additional class. All participants will receive an official 2017 Summer Strings t-shirt. All classes will take place in CTAC’s Music Studio space.
