On Wednesday, October 5th at noon at the Leelanau County Government Center the LWV Leelanau County will host a forum entitled Civility in Government: How to Talk with People with Whom You Disagree. This difficulty to communicate inhibits constructive conversations about how to solve problems in our community, state and nation.

Panelists H. Lynn Jondahl, Charles Judson and Rebecca Garland Rogan each have extensive experience working to resolve conflict. They will provide suggestions as to what can be done to reduce polarization and to improve our needed problem solving skills. They will share their experience with bridging divides among elected officials, business organizations, community groups and families.

The public is invited. Many people bring a sack lunch. LWVLC business meeting to follow presentation. For more information: Call 231-271-5600, visit LWVLeelanau.org or follow LWVLC on Facebook at League of Women Voters Leelanau County Poster and photos of presenters are attached.
