A genetics professor with Asperger’s finds the one woman who seems all wrong for him in this humorous debut novel by Graeme Simsion. Unable to find true love, Don Tillman’s solution is to design the Wife Project: he will date only those who “match” his idiosyncratic standards as determined by an exacting questionnaire. When Don meets Rosie Jarman, a free-spirit searching for her biological father, he doesn’t need a questionnaire to tell him that they are not a match. What follows are his utterly clueless, but more often thoroughly charming exploits in exploring his capacity for romance.
