Old Town Playhouse is holding auditions for the family play Peter and the Starcatcher by Rick Ellice, based on books by Humorist Dave Barry and thriller author Ridley Pierson. This prequel to Peter Pan has roles for one or two women, at least one of whom must be able to play a character between ages 18 and 25, and up to eleven men, whose roles can range in age from 18 to 60, preferably with as wide a range of ages as possible.
Children from ages 8 to 18 may also audition for a possible small portion of the beginning of the show. This part of the show will only take place if there is enough interest. Any children who arrive each evening will audition first and should be finished by about 7:30.
Auditions are open to all community members. Auditionees must read from the script and be familiar with the production. Perusal scripts are available for a $10 deposit at the OTP Business Office or they can be e-mailed to you at no charge. Performances will be Nov 25 – Dec 17.
