Bring your knee high naturalist to explore animal life in winter with Little Traverse Conservancy. They’ll discover which animals are sleeping through the winter and which ones are active and what special body parts or behaviors help them survive the harsh weather. We’ll go on a snow hike to look for signs of animals, especially animal tracks, and seek out food and hideouts like the critters do. This program will include a story, indoor component and outdoor hike. This program is designed for 3 – 5 year olds, but siblings are welcome to tag along.
