The 48th annual Coho Festival is a three day event centralized in Village of Honor. The festival celebrates the Salmon Run up the Benzie County Rivers. The Platte River was the first river for salmon planting in Michigan.
This festival has activities for all ages including Lawn Tractor and Kids Tractor Trike Races, Children games, Duck Race, Medallion Hunt, Softball Tournament, Parade, Flea Market, Live Entertainment, Fireworks and more.
Honor is on US-31 about 30 minutes southwest of Traverse City.
