18th Annual Heritage Days includes reenactments in Hannah Park, vendors and re-releasing a silent movie about Traverse City from 1940, We’re in the Movies, at the State Theatre, Sat. at 4pm.
A new exhibit featuring three Traverse City pioneers opens for Heritage Days. The new project, “Legends of the Grand Traverse Region: Community out of Diversity,” features intriguing stories about three diverse people who helped make the Grand Traverse area what it is today.
Heritage Days events culminate with a parade of vintage 1940’s automobiles that ends at the State Theater.
Admission for the festival is $5 for adults and $5 for the movie.
