Traverse City’s beloved wine festival is adding a new component this year—hard cider! Come to the Historic Village at Grand Traverse Commons this Saturday, June 24, from 3 to 9 p.m. to enjoy over 20 different local wineries and hard cider vendors at the Traverse City Wine & Cider Festival. Admission has dropped this year to $35, which includes a souvenir wine glass, three tasting tokens and all-day musical entertainment. (Get your tickets online.)

Boathouse Vineyards, one of the featured wineries at this year’s festival

Wine pairings will be available with cheese from The Cheese Lady and chocolate from Grocer’s Daughter. Delicious fare is being prepared for guests by Cordwood BBQ, Rocco’s Old World Pizza and The Cheese Lady.

Live musical performances will include E Minor, G-Snacks, Carsie Blanton and Oh Brother, Big Sister. There will also be two artist booths, and artists will be showcased throughout the day among the food and wine tents.

Oh Brother, Big Sister will be performing at the festival.

Pro Tip: Volunteering is a great way to get involved (and get free wine). If you work a shift, you get a free ticket to the festival—and if you work the second/late shift, you get a free ticket to this year’s festival AND next year’s!
