One of Northern Michigan’s favorite Memorial Day Weekend traditions is back on Saturday, May 26! The 13th Annual Michigan Beer & Brat Festival at Crystal Mountain kicks off the holiday weekend from 4 to 8 p.m. (VIP event begins at 3 p.m.) General admission costs $30 if you buy your ticket online by Friday, May 25 at midnight. Tickets cost $35 at the door.

The celebration features more than 30 breweries, wineries, distilleries, and cideries from across the state and draws thousands of people to the base of Crystal Mountain’s slopes. Gourmet brats from local markets will also be available. Drew Hale Band takes the stage from 3–5 p.m. followed by The Rock Show Band from 5:30–8 p.m.

Bring your kids! The Camp & Crafts program will entertain your child while you enjoy the festival. It’s open to ages 12 and under and includes crafts, games, and dinner (hot dogs, chips, watermelon). On Sunday, March 27 hop on the first chairlift ride of the season for the after-party on top of the mountain. Micros on MountainTop will have microbrews,  BBQ, and live music from John Pomeroy from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person online through Friday, May 25 and kids 6 and under get in free! Limited tickets available, valid for admission only. Day-of tickets cost $10 per person.
