Tomorrow, two downtown businesses are offering Traverse City Election Day specials for voters including free pie and 25-cent beer—just another reason to get out and vote (if you don’t know where to vote, find out here)!

Mama Lu’s

Mama Lu’s is offering voters who wear their “I Voted” sticker on Tuesday, November 8 one of America’s oldest beers, Pabst Blue Ribbon, for just 25 cents (limit 1 beer per guest. Must be 21 or older) from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Guests who come by Mama Lu’s on Tuesday can expect election coverage on the big screen.

“We wanted to do something fun to get people excited about the voting process. If we can drive even one person to go to the polls and vote, it’s one more voice that’s being heard. By getting out and casting your vote, you are not only exercising a right that some of us didn’t always have, but you’re also utilizing an opportunity to voice your values and why they are important to you as a citizen in this country,” Owner Adrienne Brunette says in a press release.

Mama Lu’s is located at 149 E. Front St. in Traverse City, 231-943-2793.

Grand Traverse Pie Co.
