October 29: Halloween-Inspired Runs/Walks

October 30: Grand Bridal Expo 12th Annual Grand Bridal Expo featuring displays by the finest in wedding service providers Northern Michigan has to offer. Workshops throughout the day. Celebration lounge, where guests may purchase beer, wine and food, opens at noon. Grand Finale fashion show begins at 3 p.m. and showcases the latest in bridal fashions. November 3: Concert at City Opera House – Don’t miss a rich, diverse musical performance of John Prine classics with the all-star band of Michigan musicians, Prine Time. Show starts at 7:30 p.m., tickets $15-$25. City Opera House, Traverse City, 231.941.8082.

November 3: 3rd Annual IPA Challenge at Little Fleet The IPA challenge is a local competition between 10 Traverse City breweries, competing to have the best IPA in town. You be the judge. Blind tasting. Ticket holders will know the description of the beer, ABV and other facts, but the brewery remains confidential. The winning brewery takes home a trophy and the privilege of saying their brewery has “The Best IPA in Traverse City.”  Tickets available at MyNorthTickets.com. Traverse City, 231.941.1116.
