“The traditional but fresh menu is focused on quality ingredients and house-made items. From each pasta—made in-house daily—to the USDA prime beef to the fish from the Great Lakes, the menu will be clean, crisp and approachable, while having a refinement and level of quality that is unusually high,” Mission Point Resort Vice President and Managing Director Bradley McCallum says.
“Correspondingly, our wine list will be curated to offer a broad selection of interesting small-estate, old-world wines while retaining, of course, our Michigan and California favorites.”
Chianti also features a martini bar just outside the dining room serving signature martinis. And on nice evenings, dinner can be served al fresco on the terrace overlooking Lake Huron.
“We felt it an important goal to more closely align all of our dining experiences with the things that people love about Mission Point: its comfortable elegance, its approachability and its timeless, broad appeal across the generations,” Bradley says.
On the new menu, Bradley recommends the bone-in, prime beef rib-eye steak and the whitefish with a Tuscan herb crust, lemon risotto and spicy heirloom tomato sauce.
