The Kirtland Center for the Performing Arts in Roscommon is kicking off their 2016-17 season with “You’ve Got a Friend” Saturday, September 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. The concert features lifelong friends Kristi Manna and Jonathan Birchfield, who have been compared stylistically to Carole King and James Taylor.

The duo will be performing favorites like “How Sweet It Is,” “Carolina in My Mind,” “I Feel the Earth Move,” and of course, “You’ve Got a Friend.”

Season ticket holders can enjoy a complimentary VIP lounge starting at 5:30 p.m., while doors open to the public at 6:30 p.m. Parking is free, and shuttle vans will be running throughout the show from the entrance to your vehicle.

Part of the proceeds from this performance will go to Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center, which assists children across a four-county area in northern lower Michigan who are victims of abuse.

Tickets for “You’ve Got A Friend” at the Kirtland Center are available at MyNorthTickets.com.
